Etienne Abeille

Maître Etienne ABEILLE studied at the Université de Droit et de Sciences Politiques Aix-Marseille. He obtained a postgraduate diploma (DEA) in health law and, in 2009, a doctorate in law.

His main areas of practice are civil liability and insurance law.

In the area of civil liability, he deals in particular with personal injury, industrial and commercial risks, including high-stakes cases.

In the area of insurance law, he acts in matters relating to the constitution, validity and performance of contracts, as well as those relating to fraud.

In these areas, he appears before both civil and criminal courts.

In addition to litigation, he also advises on the amicable resolution of disputes.

He practices mainly in Marseille.

Jean-Baptiste Bado

Jean-Baptiste Bado was sworn in as a lawyer in 2009. He studied law at the Faculty of Law and Political Science in Aix-en-Provence and holds a Master’s degree in Business Law, a postgraduate diploma (DEA) in Health Law and a Master’s degree in Corporate Engineering.

He practises mainly in civil and commercial litigation, and has developed particular expertise in debt collection and enforcement.

He also advises on liability law.

He has been in charge of the Lyon office since 2010.

Mathilde Chadeyron

Mathilde Chadeyron studied at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and the University of New South Wales in Sydney.

She joined the firm in 2013, after obtaining her diploma of legal studies (CAPA) from the Écode de formation du Barreau de Paris.

Mathilde CHADEYRON mainly handles cases involving insurance law, general civil liability, contract law, personal injury compensation and medical liability.

She also appears before the criminal courts in traffic accident cases.

She practises mainly in Aix-En-Provence.

Denis Ferre

Maître Denis FERRE was sworn in as a lawyer on 8 January 1988 after working as a company executive while studying law.

With an expertise in labour law, he devotes a large part of his practice to employment law. He advises numerous companies at national level.

He was a member of the Marseille Bar Council for 3 years and practises throughout France.

Juliette FERRE, a lawyer since 2018, benefited from multi-disciplinary training in Business Law within the Magistère Droit, Fiscalité et Comptabilité of the University of Aix-Marseille.

She holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Law and Taxation from the University of Aix-Marseille and a Specialised Master’s degree in International Law and Management from HEC Paris. She worked mainly for EY, a law firm based in La Défense (2017 to 2020) and for IC Avocats in Paris (2020), where she was mainly involved in corporate, international and estate taxation.

Drawing on her multi-disciplinary training, Juliette FERRE joined Abeille & Associés in January 2021.

She assists companies and individuals in litigation and advises on employment and tax law.

Juliette FERRE has been a partner since January 2022.

She is also in charge of the Paris office.

Stéphane Gallo

Stéphane Gallo joined Abeille & Associés in 1997 and became a partner in 2000.

He holds an American law degree (LL.M) from the Connecticut School of Law and began his career practising mainly in business law.

The growing demand within Abeille & Associés for advice on real estate law, business transfers and residential and commercial leases has led him to focus his practice on these areas of private law.

Stéphane GALLO is qualified as a specialist in property law by the Bar.

Both as an adviser and in litigation, this sector deals with the various branches that make up real estate law (insurance – residential leases – commercial leases – co-ownership – easements – construction – neighbourhood disturbances).

Stéphane GALLO also provides his clients with specific, tailor-made training and runs conferences and seminars on various subjects relating to property law.

Since 2005, Stéphane GALLO has also been heavily involved in the various bodies of the profession within the Marseille Bar. After being an elected member of the Caisse des Avocats, he has been a member of the Bar Council since 2008 and plays an active role in various Bar committees.

David Cusinato

David CUSINATO joined the Marseille Bar in 2005.

He holds a postgraduate diploma from the Aix-en-Provence Business Law Institute and joined Abeille & Associés in 2005, becoming a partner in January 2010.

He advises and defends businesses, mainly in matters of commercial and corporate law, business contracts, insolvency proceedings and industrial and commercial liability insurance.

His advisory work focuses on business start-ups and transfers. In this capacity, he assists very small businesses, SMEs and company groupings. He also assists companies with contractual audits. He also provides our clients with training, particularly in insolvency proceedings and contract law.

As part of his legal practice, he appears before the civil and commercial courts of first instance and appeal, assisting and representing his clients in business-related disputes.

He practices mainly in Marseille.

Laura Tetti

Laura Tetti holds a Master’s degree in Employment Relations Law and a Master’s degree in Business Law. She joined the Employment Department in 2007 and has gradually devoted her practice to advising companies in addition to litigation.

Laura TETTI practised at the Marseille Bar for several years before joining the Aix-en-Provence Bar in 2013.

Maître TETTI provides day-to-day support to very small businesses, SMEs, associations and large groups in all the measures to be taken and difficulties encountered with regard to personnel management, staff representative bodies and negotiations with trade unions.

She is involved in managing litigation, defending the interests of our clients before labour courts, but also upstream of litigation in defining a strategy and setting up procedures by providing local advice to companies.

She is also involved in setting up training programmes for the various players involved in employment law within companies.

Sylvain Pontier

Sylvain PONTIER began his studies in private law and business law at the Institut de Droits des Affaires at the University of Aix-en-Provence. He then focused his studies and activities on public law, studying for a postgraduate diploma (DEA) in public law at the University of Aix-en-Provence.

He now works almost exclusively in public law, mainly for local authorities and companies operating in the public sector (motorway concession holders, distribution network concession holders, medical and social establishments, etc.). He also advises specialist public establishments such as departmental fire and rescue services and public transport and health establishments (CHU, CHS).

He manages the public law department, which specialises in administrative liability, public procurement, town planning, the environment, civil service, energy and criminal law associated with public law issues.

Within this department, he is more specifically responsible for complex cases and high-stakes cases, particularly in the areas of liability (fire, personal injury, industrial damage, etc.), industrial risk and planning.

He acts throughout France and overseas, and occasionally abroad.

He has taken part in numerous conferences, speeches, articles and publications, notably in Jurisclasseur.
